The Official Fan Page for Richard Robert's Please Don't Tell My Parents I'm A Super Villain

Sequel Officially Confirmed!

I am the branches (1)

We are happy to announce that Please Don’t Tell My Parents I’m a Supervillain is definitely getting a sequel!

Roberts has agreed to writing book 2, titled At Least I Didn’t Blow Up Our Moon, and is already hard at work on development. With only a few chapters finished, it will still be months before ARC’s are out, but you will definitely be getting a lot more of Penny, Ray and Clare! In fact, Richard and the lovely representatives from CAA have sights on a third novel as well, rounding out the story of Penny into a nice trilogy that follows her into adolescence. Will Penny stay a Supervillain or will she finally resolve herself to the more conventional superhero ways of her parents…

You can find an excerpt from the sequel here, and keep an eye out for first chapters, Richard has promised to give us a little taste of Book 2 soon.

Thank you from Richard and Curiosity Quills Press for your support and reviews, they have made this all possible!

Not to nitpick too much, since I’m only 42% of the way through the first book and really enjoying it, but shouldn’t that say ‘conventional’ rather than ‘convention’ in your post? Just saying, typos look bad enough from random strangers on the internet, when you see them on an authors website, they make you want to cringe. Looking forward to book 2. Now I’m going to go finish reading the first one. Thanks for writing it.

Have to say I really enjoyed the book. And while I still think she should have kept her conqueror’s orb, giving it away was a good idea. I will admit, I had expected her to come clean to her parents by the end of the book, even if she wasn’t exonerated in the superhero community, but I’m honestly glad you disappointed me. I’m eagerly looking forward to the next book. I do wonder about her friends though. Little miss Minx Jr, E-Claire sounds like she could go light or dark side, but Ray just seems like he’s destined to be a villain, something in the nature of a mercenary or goon in the absence of Penny’s guiding influence and planning for their activities. I can’t help but wonder if the Minx isn’t encouraging them towards a life of villainy, or if she’s just helping them to get it out of their system while they are young. All in all, it was a fun read. Thank you for writing it.

I am an avid reader and it has been a while since I have read a book that is almost painful to put down! Even though I’m an adult I love reading about the antics of the characters as they move the story along. I also love the game Teddy Bears and Machine Guns as a way to advance Penny’s skills. I was also very touched by Bull’s story(won’t go further incase of spoilers). I am super excited to not only watch the movie but I am also anticipating the next few books! A wonderful story and thanks for sharing it with us!!
